Welcome to the Mix Tape Review. A show with a no holds barred kind of attitude. A show that can take you back to another time and place before Smartphones, EV’s, and triple IPA’s. A show like a box of chocolates, because you’ll never know what you’re gonna get ! The Mix Tape Review will blend concepts, themes, and genres like a food processor in a gourmet kitchen of sound.

Having grown up in Santa Rosa and the North Bay, I’ve been in and around various music scenes. I’ve also spent the last thirty plus years working in bars and nightclubs further exposing me to a wide variety of artists. It’s been my privilege to experience so many intriguing artists in so many accommodating venues. While many of these clubs and venues have closed with artists passing away or retiring, the memories remain stamped onto my soul. Now it’s my turn to share with you a wide assortment of groovy tunes that I find relevant and entertaining.

Throughout the years I’ve enjoyed just about everything from Jazz to Death Metal, Reggae to Outlaw Country, and HipHop to Doo-Wop. I never wanted to be limited in what art or music I found enjoyable and The Mix Tape Review is based off of this principle.

So tune in for a couple of hours on a Monday night, and let’s kick back together and discover new tracks while stirring up memories of the good old days
