Echoes of Jazz

Thursdays @ 10pm
“Echoes of Jazz” covers a chronological history of recorded jazz focusing on the major styles, eras, creators, and prime exponents of this unique American art form. It can be described as a more focused Allmusic-type guide that might appeal to jazz musicians, jazz lovers, and the jazz curious. Shows will explore and compare the giants of the music, while also covering lesser known artists and albums that should be part of any serious collection as well as themed shows that show jazz as a music that both influences and is influenced by the culture and trends of the day, all with an ear towards helping the listener expand their playlists and understanding of Modern American Instrumental Music.
