Ventura Smalley grew up in California listening to local radio and was inspired by the night host known as “Delilah Rene.” He would stay up late at night listening to the sappy love stories and relaxing to her soothing voice. He’d dream of becoming the next Delilah and, at 14, he secured his first radio show “VMS Radio.” The show would go on to be syndicated and aired on a few community stations. Ventura would stay up late at night in his studio, taking love song requests and dedications. Listeners saw Ventura has a calm and soothing voice that helped them relax at night. Each night Ventura is in the studio taking your song requests and dedications. He reminds us “I really love my job; I love being able to find the perfect love song based on the listeners’ stories.” Ventura says, “Thanks to God, I have the ability to be able to listen to people and their life stories and give the best advice I can.”
