Become a member of KOWS radio and show your support for community radio. KOWS is run by a group of volunteers who donate their time, money, and talent to making the station one of the most popular in Sonoma County. To become a member, simply click on the Donate Now button and find out how your tax-deductible donation makes you eligible to share in the excitement of West County community radio.

Our underwriters are a very special class of community leaders who have stepped up to ensure that the heart and voice of West County thrives. For about $1 a day, you can have your business mentioned four or more times a week in a manner which is FCC compliant. In addition, your business link will appear on our ‘Sponsors’ page. KOWS radio would not exist if not for our business community.

Yes…YOU! Do you have a love of music or a gift of the gab or maybe a desire for community involvement? KOWS is always looking to fill our calendar with original content from community members like yourself. Whether it’s punk or classical music, West County or national politics, exercise or chit chat or comedy…there’s a place if you have the desire. Join the herd today and have your voice heard.

The KOWS ‘herd’ is 100 volunteers strong and serves the West County, broadcasting 24/7 from Occidental to Sonoma County and the world. In 2027, we will be celebrating 20 years on-air, continuing our commitment to providing a wide range of recorded and live music, discussion and public affairs programming to our listeners. Tune in at 92.5FM or kowsfm.com. We are a 501c3 nonprofit (ID 46-5637990).
